We conduct regular site inspections, undertaking a thorough analysis of each workplace and consulting with each client to ensure minimum risk and maximum safety for all Adecco associates. We maintain a detailed record of each site and provide recommendations for any site safety improvements.
Adecco's Safety Commitments for Clients
Adecco will ensure that:
- An effective OHS program is introduced and maintained to ensure all workplace hazards are identified, associated risks assessed and consult with clients to ensure these are appropriately managed
- The OHS program is monitored and reviewed to reflect changing circumstances at sites
- Appropriate records are kept in relation to the risk management programme
- Associates are consulted with regarding OH & S issues relevant to them
- All necessary registration, certification and licensing requirements are complied with
- Associates are appropriately trained, supervised and provided with adequate information to undertake their duties safely
- Personal protective equipment is provided and Associates are adequately instructed in its proper use, maintenance and storage
- An appropriate accident and incident reporting process is in place, along with a process for improvement and risk mitigation
- 24/7 availability of Adecco management in the event of an incident or injury

Adecco’s Health and Safety Team
Adecco employs a full time Health, Safety and Compliance Manager who ensures that our OH&S policies, procedures and practices meet NZ legislative requirements and Adecco's own high standards.
Pre-employment Health and Safety Assessment
Utilising Xpert Online our Associates are evaluated for their safety skills and knowledge and their attitude to work and safety.
Pre-employment Induction
Adecco's Associate Induction Program is a comprehensive and interactive program that includes information on employment policies and procedures and Health and Safety requirements. This induction can be customised to accommodate the needs of individual clients and sites.
